DEATH FACES IN VINKT
A war crime and its consequences: This is no coincidence: it's karma!

A Victim Faces His Killer !
28 years after killing all 86 men in the village of Vinkt (Belgium) in a war crime 1940 by german soldiers, a meanwhile fifty-year-old man is standing at the former crime scene looking in the right direction at the right second: At the edge of town, near the Kruisweg, he observes a car with German license plates approaching, without a clue who he would soon see again.
Severely wounded in the time, he was one of only 4 survivors of the execution by order. He also was a witness of a rape and possibly also at the murder of two women from Vinkt. Now he faces his real killer, who was 24 at the time! And he faces him! They both recognize each other immediately and look at each other, stunned and full of fear – as the car drives by without a stop and talking The memory of a witness to this incredible coincidence in 1968 and a true intuition lead in 2021 to the uncovering of the alleged father's involvement in one of the greatest war massacers!
The former soldier never overcame his actions and could barely smile until his death. The memories rendered him incapable of affection and thus made him a victim of his commanded actions, too.
The film and the novel are authentic; they are based on true events.
